Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Delivery Date & Time Picker by Lantera collects, uses, and protects information when merchants use the application with their BigCommerce stores.

2. Information We Collect

The app may access store-related information required for core functionality, including order information, delivery scheduling data, storefront configuration, and customer delivery selections.

3. How Information Is Used

Information is used solely to provide delivery date and time scheduling features, store configuration management, order delivery processing, customer-selected delivery scheduling, and related support services.

4. Google User Data

Merchants may optionally connect a Google account to sync order deliveries to Google Calendar. This feature is off by default and only activates if a merchant explicitly authorizes it via Google's OAuth consent screen. If authorized, the application requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create and update calendar events representing a customer's scheduled delivery date and time on the merchant's chosen Google Calendar.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly — to list the merchant's Google Calendars so they can select which calendar to sync deliveries to.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to identify and display which Google account is connected to the store.
openid — Google's standard identity scope, automatically associated with the account whenever the email scope above is granted; it is used only to complete the sign-in and does not provide access to any additional data.

Google user data obtained through these scopes is used solely to provide the delivery-to-calendar sync feature described above. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with any third party except as strictly necessary to operate this feature (i.e., calls made directly to Google's own APIs).

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are only used server-side to communicate with the Google Calendar API on the merchant's behalf. A merchant can disconnect their Google account at any time from the application settings, which permanently deletes the stored tokens from our systems. Access can also be revoked directly at any time from the merchant's Google Account permissions page.

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are implemented to help protect merchant and customer information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

6. Data Sharing

Lantera does not sell merchant or customer personal information. Information may only be shared with trusted infrastructure or service providers when necessary to operate the application.

7. Merchant Control

Merchants may uninstall the application at any time through their BigCommerce admin panel. Upon uninstall, associated data may be deleted in accordance with operational and legal requirements.

8. Third-Party Services

The application may rely on secure third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, monitoring, analytics, and operational functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

The application is intended for business use and is not directed toward children.

10. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, or platform-related changes.
